Proko is a hub for artists to improve their skills and connect with a community of like-minded peers and talented mentors. They also help produce and monetize instructional videos for artists that want to start teaching online.
What are the courses offered by Proko?

I’m a beginner artist. Which course would you recommend I start with?
I recommend beginners start with the Proko Figure Drawing Course. It has a lot of very important concepts that apply to Proko drawing courses. If you’re not ready to get the premium course, you can find a list of free lessons to start within the Library.
I’m a new art student. How long will it take to be proficient?
Marshall and I have covered a lot of information related to being a Proko art student in our Draftsmen Podcast. Scroll through the episode list and you’ll see there is a lot related to being a student and growing as an artist. Specifically, check out the beginning of season 2. We did a whole series on recreating art school.
What is so special about the premium courses?
My premium courses are designed to give artists a detailed understanding of a specific subject. Although I have a lot of free Proko YouTube videos, they don’t include all the additional features of the premium courses. Premium courses are downloadable, they include extended videos, plenty of assignment demos and examples, eBooks, critique videos, and 3D models. It’s all additional content that is designed to improve your drawing skills!
Do I get all the videos if I sign up for premium?
You’ll get the premium videos that belong to the course you purchased. Through the videos, you will learn the Proko how to draw people, how to draw faces, figures, and portraits drawing. Become a better artist through step-by-step drawing tutorials. We don’t have a monthly membership to get all the videos.
Do your premium videos have subtitles?
Yes, the premium videos have English subtitles. I also include English transcripts that you can download. If you speak a second language and would like to help translate some premium videos, please contact me through the contact form on the right or send an email to support@proko.com.
What makes you different from all the other art classes online?
We are the first online educators to integrate the community right into our learning platform. We aim to create a learning environment to replace or supplement in-person art school. We want to bring affordable art education to anyone in the world with a device and a connection to the internet.
Why don’t you offer subscriptions to your courses?
When you go to a traditional school, you pay for the classes you want to take. You don’t pay to have access to every class on campus. You would have a choice overload. We also think you shouldn’t have a time limit on your access to a course. We believe that when you pay for a course, you should own it. You should also have the choice of how long you need to take or revisit course content.
What should I do if I have a problem with another user?
If you disagree with another user, please remember to keep it calm and kind. If you see poor behavior, report issues rather than countering with equal rule-breaking actions. Moderators are happy to check out a situation, but remember that it is their discretion if the content is inappropriate or not. If two users are being inexplicably awful to each other, both may be removed from the community.
What should I do if I have a problem with a moderator or a moderating decision?
Please escalate to another moderator or administrator. If you’ve been banned and you feel like this was done by mistake, please reach out to support@proko.com. Please keep in mind that our moderation has been instructed that they do not have to respond to rude or abusive messages. If you take the opportunity to personally insult our staff, they are not required to engage with you further.
Does Proko have an Affiliate program?
Yes. Our program is free to join, it’s easy to sign-up for, and requires no technical knowledge. Affiliate programs are common throughout the Internet and offer website owners an additional way to profit from their websites. Affiliates generate traffic and sales for commercial websites and in return receive a commission payment.
How does it work?
When you join our affiliate program, you will be supplied with a custom id that you can use to link to any page on Proko.com. When a user clicks on one of your custom links, a cookie will be saved in their browser. When that user purchases something from the Proko store, you will receive a commission based on your commission type. Our cookies last for 30 days.
How can I apply?
To apply, please send us an email with the following information: Full Name; Company; Country; Website; Social Profiles; Describe how you will be promoting the affiliate links; and Paypal email address. By applying to our affiliate program, you agree to our Affiliate Marketing Agreement.
How will I be paid once I join the program?
If you’re accepted into the program, you’ll be able to earn up to 15% for each sale you make. Payments are made monthly and a minimum of $100 needs to be accrued before you will be paid out. If your balance doesn’t meet the threshold for that month, the balance will be carried over until it meets the minimum payment threshold. All payments are made through Paypal.
What types of payment do you take?
We accept credit and debit cards from Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. We also accept digital wallets from PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Play.
What is your refund policy?
